Ceramic Coating
A professionally installed ceramic coating will protect your vehicle’s paint from chemical impact for years at a time. I’m pleased to be able to provide my clients with a broad selection of durable coatings from a trustworthy company based right here in the United States. The following rates are based on vehicle size, includes the Tier 2 decontamination wash, a single stage paint correction and ceramic application. If my clients wish to increase the number of polishing stages prior to the application of a durable coating they’re free to do so as long as they agree to the increased multi-stage polishing fee of $200 per stage. The hydrophobic generally applied during the Tier 2 wash is omitted in lieu of the durable coating. All ceramic coating clients will receive their first maintenance wash free of charge to be scheduled one to two weeks after the installation is finalized. Anticipate adding 2 to 3 hours to your total detail time for application and curing time of any of the following coatings.

The 3-year graphene product provides terrific durability and flexibility without all the commitment of a much longer lasting product. To be fair I’ve never met anyone that hated the idea of easier cleaning for years at a time but there’s bound to be that one person…somewhere. The 3-year graphene by DIY Detail can be chemically bonded with the 5 and 8-year products from the same brand for a super hard, extremely slick and glossy final product with unbelievable depth. Someone’s definitely going to notice.
5-Year Ceramic

Minivans: $1550

DIY Detail’s 5-year ceramic has proven itself to be a curious product in the past. This coating is most appropriate for cars that have a matte paint finish but can be applied to a vehicle with existing paint protection film or even a vehicle with a high-gloss finish, relying instead on the power of paint correction for that flawless look without adding anything more than strict hydrophobics. This product can be stacked with the 3-year graphene to make a deep-looking, highly water repellant coating with shine.
8-Year Ceramic
Small and Mid-sized coupes: $1450
Sedans and Crossovers: $1550
Small and Mid-sized trucks: $1650
Large Trucks and SUVs: $1750

XL Trucks, Panel vans and XL SUVs: $1850
The 8-year ceramic brings back the gloss of the 3-year with longer lasting durability because sometimes more is more. The 8-year ceramic can be stacked with the 3-year graphene to form an unmatched depth of gloss with supreme durability.
Unlimited Durability C6 Diamond Gloss and C6 Hydro
Small and Mid-sized coupes: $1750
Sedans and Crossovers: $1850
Small and Mid-sized trucks: $1950
Large Trucks and SUVs: $2050
Minivans: $2050
XL Trucks, Panel vans and XL SUVs: $2150
C6 Diamond Gloss and Hydro are professional-grade ceramic coatings not available on the open market for just anyone to install. No durability limit was built into these products, and the results speak for themselves. Both coatings have unmatched gloss and hydrophobics but differ slightly in that Diamond Gloss has its light reflecting qualities turned up past 10 and is most appropriate for vehicle colors such as red, black and blue whereas Hydro has its hydrophobic properties turned up with slightly less gloss…very slightly. Hydro always performs but looks best on white, silver and grey vehicles where depth of gloss isn’t as critical. The final choice is always up to the client, however as I’ll never say no to Hydro on black or Diamond Gloss on white.
