Paint enhancement is a bit of an umbrella term for me but at the end of the day, this is the service I provide that improves the look and feel of your vehicle’s painted surfaces. The services listed here must begin with a Tier 2-grade decontamination wash as you never want to polish dirty paint. As always, multiple readings are taken per panel using a digital paint thickness gauge to ensure that there is enough clear coat (or paint for vehicles painted before the late 1980s) present with which to work.

As one might suspect from the name this is a one-and-done, machine-polishing process that is added to the end of a Tier 2 Exterior Detail service due to the need for decontaminated paint for the best possible results. The goal of the single stage correction is to dramatically improve the appearance of your vehicle’s paint by eliminating from 40 to 50% of the visible swirls and paint defects left behind by repeated touch and touchless washes, airborne contaminants and waxy buildup. This level of service will have a slight impact on the appearance of random, isolated deep scratches and greatly increase gloss and slickness. This service can be expected to take from 2 to 4 hours in addition to the time required for the Tier 2 decontamination wash. No curing time is necessary to finalize this service, and the vehicle is ready to be driven immediately after final inspection. Without a coating the results of this service can be expected to last roughly six to nine months depending on weather conditions and whether the vehicle is garage kept or parked outside.

Multi-stage paint correction is suited more for the discerning eye. The goal of this service is to use machine polishing across repeated processes to arrive at a final product that appears much more glossy and significantly smoother to the touch than untreated paint. The final result will be from 70 to 90% swirl mark reduction in the paint and is limited only by the vehicle’s paint thickness and the client’s discernment. Each additional stage adds 2 to 4 hours to the finishing time and an additional $200.00 to the final bill regardless of vehicle size (For example, a three-stage correction on a small coupe would be $600 on top of the cost of a Tier 2 decontamination). Without a durable coating the final product can be expected to last 4 to 6 months before slightly visible swirls begin to resurface dependent entirely on weather conditions and whether or not the vehicle is garage kept.
