Exterior Detail
The exterior detail is the building block upon which almost all of my other services are built. The outside of your vehicle is never not the first thing you see when your intention is to drive somewhere. Why shouldn’t you enjoy the view? Pricing is based on the size of the vehicle and the level of services performed. Door jambs are cleaned and both sides of your glass are clarified regardless of which grade of service you select.
Tier 1
Small and Mid-sized coupes: $150
Sedans and Crossovers: $175
Small and Mid-sized trucks: $200
Large Trucks and SUVs: $225
Mini vans: $225
XL Trucks, Panel vans and XL SUVs: $250
All forward-facing panels are pre-treated in order to safely and efficiently remove insect debris prior to a luxurious foam and agitation wash, wheel wells are pressure sprayed to eliminate loose particulates, tires are washed and finished with tire lotion to leave a modest shine, wheel faces are cleaned and the entire vehicle is treated with one of two hydrophobic sprays based on the client’s priority (i.e. more shine or more water beading) and will last 3 to 6 months depending on after care and whether or not the vehicle is garage kept. Exposed exhaust tips are gently polished to their appropriate level of shine. This level of detail could potentially take from 2 to 3 hours. No decontamination occurs during this grade of exterior detail.
Tier 2
Small and Mid-sized coupes: $250
Sedans and Crossovers: $300
Small and Mid-sized trucks: $350
Large Trucks and SUVs: $400
Mini vans: $400
XL Trucks, Panel vans and XL SUVs: $450
This level of exterior detailing builds upon the previous tier by intensifying how much cleaning I can do for you. I will add a gentle but effective cleaning agent to the wheel wells and dress them if they can be safely reached. Wheel cleaning is improved by using brake dust and iron stain removers in the barrel if the wheel is of the open variety. During the agitation wash stage iron fallout is addressed using a specialized iron stain remover and a perforated synthetic decontamination towel (sometimes referred to as a clay towel) guaranteed not to mar the paint. A citrus oil-based tar remover is applied in the event that tar is present. If you have tree sap on the paint this will be addressed panel-by-panel. Water spot mineral deposits can also be addressed in this step, (Note: This only dissolves the minerals present in the water spot. The etching itself will remain unless it is addressed during a paint correction). As with the previous tier the surface is finished with one of two types of hydrophobic sprays depending on the client’s priorities (i.e. more shine or more water beading) and will last 3 to 6 months depending on after care and whether or not the vehicle is garage kept. This level of detail could potentially take from 3 to 4 hours.
Exterior check-up
Small and Mid-sized coupes: $60
Sedans and Crossovers: $75
Small and Mid-sized trucks: $75
Large Trucks and SUVs: $100
Mini vans: $100
XL Trucks, Panel vans and XL SUVs: $100
The exterior check-up is a maintenance wash open to clients who have taken advantage of any level of ceramic coating application or paint correction prepared only by this company as I can’t guarantee the durability of coatings applied by another organization. This is a very straight forward process utilizing a rinseless wash solution for the painted surfaces. The wheels, tires and wheel wells however will receive the benefit of a full pressure wash. Glass and door jambs are also revisited.
